Video Analytics
The cameras you already own, turned into a record you can put in front of an inspector.
Most sites are already covered by cameras that nobody watches. We turn that footage into two things a regulated operation can use: an alarm when something goes wrong in a zone that matters, and a signed record of what happened, with the zone, the camera and the time. The detection runs on your own site — the video stays where it is filmed — and a person confirms every alarm before it counts as anything. No facial recognition, no scoring of workers, no tracking of individuals.
Video Analytics
What you get
- 01
The detection runs where the cameras are
On the camera itself or on a box on your own network. Video never leaves your site, which is what makes this deployable in places where a cloud analytics service is simply not allowed.
- 02
A person confirms every alarm
Nothing automated decides anything about anyone. An operator confirms, dismisses or escalates, and the decision is part of the record with the time and who made it.
- 03
Records that survive an inspection
Each event keeps its zone, its camera, its time and its retention status, and the period can be exported as an audit pack. That is the document an inspector asks for and the one an insurer wants after an incident.
- 04
No identity, no face, no score in the data
Neither product has a field for any of them, and neither can be switched on. Prova's records hold the object class, an ephemeral track id, geometry and time; VAP keeps a short clip with each alarm so that a person can confirm it. That is what lets a works council agree to it — a design decision rather than a setting.
- 05
Works with the cameras and the system you already have
Axis cameras you already own, and alarms delivered into Milestone XProtect® as Analytics Events over your own network, with nothing installed on the XProtect servers.
- 06
A measured start, at a published price
A three-week PoC on your own cameras, or a 60-day Starter package for one site. Both with the success criteria agreed before anything is installed, and both priced on the product pages rather than on request.
Solutions
Use cases
- Forklift and pedestrian in the same aisle, in the seconds before someone is hurt
- The dock area after hours, with a schedule that knows when the cleaning crew is there
- A person past the safety line at a loading ramp
- Near-miss events collected as numbers instead of as a form nobody fills in
- An audit pack for a labour inspection, an insurer or an ISO 45001 review
- Vehicles and visitors at the gate, read against the visit that was approved
- Zones, rules and schedules tuned per site, against your own floor
- A monthly report an operations lead can act on
How we build
Three phases. Three gates. Both conditions, or it does not advance.
Every project advances through Foundation → Integration → Autonomy. Each gate is the share of that phase's QA checklist that has to pass — and no phase advances while a single critical check is still failing, whatever the score says.
- 01
≥ 82% of checks
Foundation
MVP scaffold, core architecture, scope locked, first runnable build.
- 02
≥ 87% of checks
Integration
Feature completeness, edge cases, integrations, end-to-end tests.
- 03
≥ 88% of checks
Autonomy
Production-ready: docs, monitoring, security audit, deployment runbook.
Will it run on the cameras you already have?
Five questions, two minutes — a straight answer, the price for a site your size, and the sample document for the product that fits.
